With Dr. Marty Pollio retiring this summer, the board has begun the process of hiring his successor. ✅ BOARD UPDATE | During yesterday's Jefferson County Board of Education (JCBE) meeting, the Constitutional Oath of Office was administered to JCBE members Gail Logan Strange (District 1), Tricia Lister (District 2), Trevin Bass (District 4), and Taylor Everett (District 7), who were elected in November.
Also during last night's meeting, Dr. Corrie Shull was elected chairperson of the JCBE, and James Craig was elected vice chairperson.
Thank you to all of our JCBE members for their dedication to JCPS!

DELAYED START! All JCPS schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday, January 13, 2025. There is no change to dismissal times. Drop off will begin at 9:00 AM and school will start at 9:30 AM. School will end at the normal time of 2:10 PM
SNOW DAY! Friday, January 10, 2025 Due to icy side roads and anticipated snow, all JCPS schools are closed. This is a traditional snow day for students. JCPS employees will telecommunte. Please stay warm and safe.
