Purpose

The FRC's purpose is to provide information and/or referrals to families in the school's community. The FRC works to ensure that needed resources and support are made available. In order to remove barriers for a student to have success in school, we are committed to building a partnership that includes students, families, and the community.

FRC Support Programs

  • Perfect Attendance Activities

  • New Baby Program

  • Transition to Middle School (parent/student)

  • Neighborhood Place (referrals, Back-to-School Fest)

  • FRC Advisory Council

  • FRC Cluster Programs

  • Vision screenings, immunizations, health fairs, pediculosis screening, hygiene programs

  • Referrals for help with finances, employment, housing, food, day care, transportation, General Educational Development (GED)/education

  • Nurse/Health services, screenings, physicals

  • Smile Kentucky! Dental education program in collaboration with Louisville Water Co. and University of Louisville (UofL)
