🎉 GAMECHANGER AWARD | Superintendent Dr. Brian Yearwood was honored to accept the Metro United Way Gamechanger Award on behalf of JCPS this week at the organization's seventh annual Community Impact Awards, also known as the "Immies."

Presented by Old National Bank, the Immies event celebrates the great work done to help kids thrive, households grow stronger, and ensure our community is more equitable!

Monday, April 20th "The Door Opener" LTJMS Alumni and Community Leaders will greet and cheer on students along the 1st floor hallway in the morning. image of a door. Wednesday, April 22nd "Service over Self" Each grade level participates by collecting fun-designed socks. The grade that collects the most will win an Ice Cream Party! ACTION REQUIRED | We need to know how your child will get to and from school for the 2026-27 school year. The JCPS Transportation Verification (TV) form is now open. Every JCPS family must complete this form to let us know how your child will get to and from school.

The final day to request bus transportation for the first day of school is June 8, 2026. Eligible bus riders who fill out the Transportation Verification form by June 8, 2026, will be notified of their bus stop location in July via the JCPS Bus Teller.
