When Ivonne Davila-Beegle first introduced Rocket League the Academy @ Shawnee's esports team, it started out as a club. It would soon turn into a formal team, with some growing pains. Now, the Golden Eagles are one of the best Rocket League teams in JCPS.

JCPS cut the ribbon on a brand-new Verizon Innovative Learning Lab at Ramsey Middle School. The lab gives students and teachers access to emerging technology such as augmented and virtual reality, 3D printing and artificial intelligence.

What started out as a club, turned into a competitive team. The girls on the Middletown Elementary cheer team take pride in the fact that their school has a cheer team. One student said she loves being a part of something bigger than herself.
