Pathfinder School of Innovation Device Information
My student needs a Chromebook
Fill out the Pathfinder Device Agreement and Policies Form in Step 1. This is required and all JCPS assigned devices must be returned in order to receive a device. If you have device from us or a previous school, that will need to be brought to your appointment along with the charger. Make an appointment in Step 2.
My Student’s Device Needs Repair
If your student’s device needs repair, please make an appointment, at Step 2.
My Student Does Not Have Internet Access
If you do not have access to WIFI or internet access at home, please view the following programs. JCPS no longer offers WIFI hotspots or cellular enabled Chromebooks. Pathfinder students and families are responsible for their own internet service. We can only provide WIFI enabled Chromebooks. Below are some recommended resources:
You can apply for a mobile hotspot from T-Mobile for your student if you qualify for a limited 200 GB hotspot.
Visit Free WIFI locations in Louisville.
Apply for reduced home WIFI with government assitance programs:
Everyone On Program - Find low-cost internet service in your area
USAC Lifeline Support – Federal program that lowers monthly cost of internet services
Unfortunately, we cannot assist you with the above programs. However, if you are still unable to provide internet services for your Pathfinder student and need further assistance, please reach out via email to the technology coordinator Emily Cockerill or call 485-7823.
