Upper Academy 9-12

The Academy at Shawnee gives High School students multiple opportunities to prepare themselves for their future. Each Freshman comes in as a member of the Freshman Academy. Students are given the chance to learn Shawnee, learn themselves, and learn the Academies of Louisville. Once students are ready to transition to 10th grade, they choose a pathway that best aligns with their future plans. These pathways are the Aviation & Interactive Media Arts (AIM) Academy and Health & Human Services (HHS) Academy. The Academy at Shawnee also hosts a Global Pathway of Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC).
