Communications team takes home three awards from the National School Public Relations Association

June 20, 2023 - The Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) Communications Team has been recognized by the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA). Four members of the team received Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards. The awards recognize outstanding education content produced by school district communications teams nationwide.
Juliann Morris, a communications and information coordinator with JCPS, received the NSPRA Award of Excellence for her story JCPS Tackles Teacher Retention with Multi-Faceted, Whole-Person Approach.
Dyuce Woodson, a communications and information coordinator with JCPS, received the NSPRA Award of Merit for his video Western High School Barber.
Heidi Thiel and Jason Solan, videographers for JCPS, received the NSPRA Award of Merit for their video JCPS Facilities Update - Indian Trail and Wilkerson. Elementary Schools.
NSPRA awards recognize individual talents and reflect the team’s dedication to highlighting the positive work taking place throughout JCPS.
Award winners will be recognized at the NSPRA Conference in July.
