Welcome

Welcome to McFerran Early Childhood!

Welcome to McFerran Early Childhood Center, where students come first! We pride ourselves on serving the needs of students with varying abilities. McFerran offers a learning environment that emphasizes a structured and orderly setting for students to maximize their potential and become knowledgeable and involved citizens in our community.

We stress the following:

  • Academic/Social-Emotional Growth

  • A sense of pride and self-worth

  • Behavior appropriate to the school setting

  • Family involvement and commitment

  • Creative problem-solving and student projects

  • Concepts of citizenship, courtesy, and values

Our students actively participate in hands-on activities that enhance the curriculum. Students use technology as they apply skills to communicate and solve real-world problems. Students also have an opportunity to earn pins, badges, and other tokens of recognition for successful completion of special projects, academic achievement, and leadership. Our vision is to cultivate classrooms of excellence, empower families, prepare students for kindergarten, and improve our community. Staff, students, parents, and community members are called to the mission of developing citizens of tomorrow.
